Marie-Antoinette

Original text of Saint-Louis:
Marie-Antoinette’s bust is represented by a hand-made ceramic mould. Her hair made of clear and white twisted crystal filigree and is styled according to the fashion of the time, full of generous volume and curls.
She is framed by two garlands of her favourite flowers and ribbons, inspired by the famous floral headboard in the Queen’s bedroom at the Palace of Versailles with its roses, lilies, lilacs and flower buds. The „Saint-Louis 2022“ vintage is at the base of the garlands.
The whole of this decor is set against the backdrop of a royal blue bottom. This dark blue emblematic of the Saint-Louis maison is that of the royal blue, the blue of the kings of France. The paperweight is adorned with an ample diamond cut to represent the Queen’s crown.

The Marie-Antoinette paperweight was developed in partnership with the Château de Versailles. The „Château de Versailles“ and „Saint-Louis“ logos can be found side by side on the box.
